Friday Fixations: Woo-Woo Sh*t

*Friday Fixations on a Thursday? Depending on how your week is going, consider this either six days late or one day early. Last week’s edition got a little lost on its way to your inbox, so we’re trying this again. Time is a construct anyway!

This week (and yes, as I always say, every other week in addition to this one), I’m obsessed with woo-woo sh*t. Numerology? Obviously. Astrology? Sign me up. Human Design? I don’t totally understand it, but pull up my chart. Manifesting? Been there. Astrology apps that send vaguely threatening push notifications about my romantic future at the crack of dawn? Yep. I’m listening.

Did I recently use numerology during my apartment search to determine which apartment number would be best for me based on my personal year number, my life path, and, most importantly, my neuroses? Yes. Did it ultimately help me make the decision? Honestly, kind of! Do I know my boyfriend’s entire birth chart? Have I checked our astrological compatibility? What do you think?

My love for woo-woo sh*t goes way back. Years ago, when I was dealing with a difficult ex, I went to someone who offered emotional cord cutting (as suggested by my hypnotherapist, and yes, I realize how ridiculous that sounds). She cut the energetic cords between me and my ex using a literal samurai sword. Did it work? You’ll just have to keep reading to find out.
